Hunting and Fishing

The Association was first founded by a group of hunting and fishing enthusiasts. It is natural that these activities are at the very heart of the organization's concerns. The free territory includes lakes Nice, Faucon, Faune and Boudreault. They are all accessible for fishing and some are stocked annually. A Quebec fishing permit and compliance with the quotas in effect are mandatory.

For hunting, the territory is composed of a diversified and abundant fauna. Depending on the season, it is possible to hunt or trap many game animals of varying sizes. Moose hunting is the most popular and a good part of the territory is already reserved by regular hunters. Contact the administrators for more details on possibilities and availability.

Charlevoix is part of hunting zone 27, defined by the Quebec Ministry of Forestry, Wildlife and Parks.

The Ministry's site also details hunting periods.
